Prioritizing Well-Being for Young Women
March is Women’s History Month, a time to honor women’s strength, resilience, and achievements across generations. The Flawless Foundation is dedicated to empowering women and fostering well-being. This year, we are proud to highlight our impactful initiatives designed to support female-identifying high school students and women of all ages in prioritizing self-care and mental health.
One of the most exciting projects we are launching is our new Online Wellness Course, created to help young women prioritize their well-being. This course will provide interactive lessons on self-care, community building, creativity, and reflection, while also addressing crucial topics like recognizing the signs of mental health challenges and developing the tools to support oneself and others. Through our initiatives, we are fostering open conversations and providing practical strategies to help young women navigate life’s challenges.
The Power of Conversation and Community

Beyond our online course, we are thrilled to launch our Flawless Podcast, a space where women share their journeys, wisdom, and insights on self-care, personal growth, and resilience. Featuring voices from diverse backgrounds, this podcast brings together changemakers who are making an impact in their respective fields.
Through the podcast, we explore the power of mindfulness and movement with yoga instructor and women’s advocate Damita McCain, who emphasizes the connection between mind and body. We also dive into emotional healing and grief processing with Bernadette Pleasant, the founder of The Emotional Institute, who encourages people to embrace their emotions fully.

Balancing personal wellness with professional life is another key theme, as discussed by Mercedes Vasquez, a somatic healer who navigates the corporate world while prioritizing holistic well-being. Creativity as a tool for healing and self-expression is highlighted by Tara Dixon, an artist whose work inspires others to find peace and purpose through artistic expression.

Flawless Founder Janine Francolini also shares her wisdom, reflecting on her personal experience navigating mental health challenges as a young adult. Her insights offer a valuable perspective on resilience and the importance of accessible mental health resources.
The podcast introduces varied perspectives as we learn from young women including Soa Denise, a model who discusses self-confidence and identity, Mika George, a musician who explores creativity and self-expression, Eliana Kazan, a Flawless Team Member and college student reflecting on transition periods, and Dalgis Mosqueda, a Flawless Consultant and Intellectual Property Paralegal who speaks on balancing ambition with well-being. Their voices add a dynamic energy to the conversations, making these discussions even more engaging.
A Reflection on the Work

As we bring these initiatives to life, Dalgis, one of the key team members at Flawless, reflects on the deeply rewarding nature of this work. She finds immense joy in crafting content that encourages open discussions about topics that matter to coming-of-age women as well as women at all stages of life. For her, this work is not just about education—it’s about reminding women to care for themselves, embrace their emotions, and make self-care a non-negotiable part of life. Dalgis shares that ”it takes a great deal of planning and effort to create these resources, but the impact makes it all worthwhile.”

Another essential team member working on the Flawless Female Online Course and Podcast, Eliana, reflects on her experience with gratitude and excitement. “Just sitting in a filming studio taught me lessons I had never encountered before,” she shares. She loved discussing her high school and college experiences and learning from inspiring women like Bernadette Pleasant, Janine, Mika, and Soa. Her favorite part? Exploring ways to unwind, like gratitude journaling and arts and crafts. Passionate about Flawless, Eliana is grateful to be part of this impactful project.
Moving Forward

At the Flawless Foundation, we believe that empowering women starts with supporting their well-being. This Women’s History Month, we celebrate the work we are doing to create lasting resources and conversations that uplift and inspire. Whether through our soon-to-be-launched online course and podcast, or the incredible voices we amplify, we are committed to ensuring that every woman knows the importance of self-care, community, and resilience.
We are deeply grateful to HealthE Voices for their generous grant, which allows us to bring these projects to life and continue pouring into our community. Their support empowers us to create meaningful, lasting change and ensure women have access to the resources they deserve.
Here’s to the power of women—past, present, and future—and to making well-being a priority every day.
