From a very young age most of us are taught that to maintain proper health there are
certain things we must do regularly and without fail. To maintain proper gum health, you must
brush and floss daily. To maintain your strength, you should have 3 square meals a day with
snacks in between. To maintain healthy hair, you should have and implement a consistent
regimen. We are taught with great detail how to take care of ourselves in ways that focus
primarily on what others can see on the surface. However, we often neglect the most important
elements of our health that lie just below the surface.
Being flawless to me doesn’t mean being in peak physical shape or even having a
perfect smile or diet. Being flawless means routinely being kind to yourself. Being Flawless
means remembering to show yourself compassion and self love everyday, even when you aren’t
feeling perfect. Being flawless is more than what we see outwardly, it means taking care of your
mind and your heart because the things we can’t see are just as important as what we cannot.
