With mental health on the forefront of everyone’s mind these days, we often wonder where the line between awareness and progress begins. While a positive outlook on mental health is undeniably crucial, we rely on organizations working together for the hard conversations and concrete change that is long overdue for our nation.
The National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions is a flawless model of this ideal and mission. Biannually, the organization convenes corporate wellness experts from across the country to discuss every aspect of important healthcare topics. These inspiring clinicians, wellness strategists, corporate leaders, and more invite us into the ongoing conversation of health and wellbeing management and improvement. It’s these unique opportunities for collaboration that we believe amount to the greatest change.
At this year’s Leadership Summits in Dallas on March 14-15, thought leaders will focus on various aspects of promoting healthy workplace environments. Summits will cover a broad range of topics relating to emotionally healthy workforces, the obesity epidemic, and caregiving, as well as the culture surrounding these topics in our community. With a long list of powerful speakers, it’s sure to be a critical event amounting to fresh ideas, instrumental advice, and meaningful collaboration.
At the Flawless Foundation, we envision a world where health justice on every level is available to every citizen. We are vigilantly working to change the conversation about mental health, and promote a world of greater understanding and acceptance. We are grateful for the collaboration of like-minded individuals and organizations such as the National Alliance as it takes every sector to be part of the solution. Together, we look forward to a future where brain health is acknowledged, integrated and understood and optimal health is a given for everyone.
