Due to the COVID-19 induced social distancing, prom and other memorable high school events have been canceled. However, just because there was no in-person socializing with friends, dancing, prom king and queen, or memories does not mean that Prom was canceled online. The innovative sibling duo behind the creation of the notOK app had another idea, a virtual prom. They hosted a “We are Well Prom” Instagram Live which allowed teenagers from all around the country to join in on the fun and stay connected. Hannah and Charlie danced, shouted out celebrants, raised $45,000 for high schoolers in need, and encouraged viewers to say what they are doing for their mental health during these difficult times.
